Completing the current series, Paul continues to examine the hallmarks of men and women who have lived powerful Christian lives. Looking at the life of Jesus, His disciples and the Apostle Paul as well as the lives of those who have lived more recently for example William Seymour, he shares his discoveries as to what separates them and their ministries from those of others.
This podcast follows on from last week's message about the importance of the power of God's promise, Holy Spirit. Being baptised in Him is like receiving 'power clothing' as He enables us to do things beyond our human strength or reason. So to witness powerfully, to preach the good news - don't leave home without Him!
There is no such thing in the bible as 'powerless Christianity' so why should we settle for less? Jesus told His disciples to wait in Jerusalem until they had been 'clothed with power from on high'. The disciples needed the power of the Holy Spirit to do the work set before them and as today's disciples, we need the His help too. True Christianity is not powerless, but POWERFUL!

God has a vision for your life and your life is significant. Your destiny and your identity are intimately connected. they are two sides of the same coin. Satan attacked Jesus's identity in the wilderness but Jesus knew who He was and so should we. Ultimately what you believe about yourself will determine your life.
